We went to Szentendre today;) It was nice peaceful town that is very near to Budapest and this place is considered ‘touristy’ in some parts. We had Langosh, but this time, the ‘langosh’ tastes surprisingly better than the one we previously had:) Again we had the original ( with garlic, sour cream and cheese ;)
In today’s photo of the storefront of ‘blueland’, I’ll like to feature a small detail in my next post that I like alot and had caught my initial attention;) Make a guess which is it?
A: The flowers in the mini wooden ‘wheelbarrow’
B: The witchy-looking dollie
C: The ‘Blueland Folklor’ logo
The answer to this will be featured in my next post;)
Zsolt hopes you will share with him a similar proverb/saying from your country. It can be with similar meaning also…but its not a problem if its different. The main point is to collect proverbs/phrases/sayings from all over the world!
Today’s proverb is a Tao proverb:

Hello Zannnie,
have this your journey been the reward :) ?
I would like too be in “Blueland” for shopping. I think, I could find
nice things to my three granddaughters from there !
Have a nice Sunday, you two, Zannnie and Zsolt.
Belle boutique, j’aime beaucoup la poupée bleue en bas à gauche.
Bon dimanche, je voterais bien pour le C.
Beautiful shop, I like much the blue headstock in bottom on the left. Good Sunday, I would vote well for C.
:P
i would guess that the witchy-looking dollie caught your attention..
have a nice Sunday, you guys….

btw, is this the 100th post of Budapest daily photo blog??? :P
The way you spent your day makes me truly jealous! I Like your photo, and, I’m sure is the doll!
my guess is logo of the shop ?
am glad that you’ve finally tasted a better langosh. The standard seems to vary from stall to stall..some its down right dissapointing. Try a hidden shop at “lehel piac ” that’s one shop that i like in BP.
oh, Happy 100th post!! looking forward to more
What I can think of is “you have to stop and smell the roses.”
I think you are going to post a closeup of the logo. It caught my eye too, and I want to see it bigger. :)
Congratulations for your 100th post! I’m looking froward your next 100, 1000 and more.
Happy 100th post! Happy Holidays too! When are you coming back to Singapore? haha….
mimmu,
yes it’s been a very rewarding trip;) i’m still in the midst of it though…
This blueland folklore shop has very interesting items, mostly handmade and all in blue material;) I’m sure you will find something for your grandchildren:)
Thank you so much for your kind greetings!:) you have a great week ahead too!!
Olivier,
The blue logo looks pretty cool actually, but my i first saw ….. (pls check my coming post dated 5th Dec;))
Jing,
it’s not the witchy-looking dollie….you have a great week ahead too!:)
Lachezar,
It looks like you can tell from the photos how a nice time we had at Szentendre;)
Thank you for your comments about the photo;)
Kris,
I like the logo, but it didn’t catch my first attention;)
We’ll go check it out the hidden ”Lehel Piac” maybe one of these days ;) when are you coming here for the langosh you like in BP?
Ruth,
Nice proverb, and yes, it’s sometimes good to stop a little while…to appreciate the little things around…hmmm very nice!;)
