Jing,
ohh, it's not hot, just the appearance is made to look appetising;)
do take care of your skin...
萝卜青菜，各有所爱...yes it's a nice proverb that means about the same as the one on my post;) Thank you...

Lachezar,
Thank you, you are a great supporter, Lachezar;)

Lisi,
it really looked and smelled really good:) Satay tastes different...

Olivier,
i love baguette too! In Singapore, my favourite is the Delifrance baguette;) with chicken mayonaise, yum

Keropok,
''ta pow'' is not so good becos my flight takes more than 18+hours!! maybe i'll learn the 'secret recipe';) or you can try it here on your trip to Budapest;) didn't you told Zsolt that you are coming soon?

Denton,
Did you manage to find the label? Yes the Hungarian goulash is with lots of paprika;)
I like the similar proverb you've wrote, and it's true;)

photowannabe,
Thank you....i'm learning each time too;)
have a great week ahead!

Abigail,
Are you coming to Budapest also? Let us know;)

Jazzy,
In case you are visiting Budapest, these delicious skewers can be found at Vörösmarty tér

I like the proverb that you've shared: ‘even on the same pillow a man and a woman dream differently’ ;)

kris,
Try the paprika powder, don't worry, it's not that hot at all. We recognise the asian foodfare with the colours, but even trying the 'reddish coloured Hungarian soup' called 'Gulyás' with extra lots of paprika powder, its still didn't satisfy my 'spicy hot' craving....

Meg,
yes, i'm in the HOME of Paprika;)

it's great to see you’re enjoying hungarian delicacies, these skewers look yummmmmy and now you have to tell us where did you find this food stand, just in case we visit Budapest one day =)

here's one more proverb for you:

'even on the same pillow a man and a woman dream differently' - on how different we all are.

Yay! Food posts are a great new inclusion. Food is something I can always truly understand, which transports me to a place, even if just from a photo!

I really like the steam rising off the food in this photo ... I plan to go home this evening and check the labels of our paprika. Maybe they come from Hungary and I was never aware. One of the dishes we prepare is Hungarian goulash which is heavy in paprika ... A similar saying would be "one man's trash is another man's treasure".

j'ai attendu ce midi pour repondre a ce post, car le matin je prefere la bonne baguette francaise. Humm cela semble tres bon et ca donne envie. (sinon merci pour tes proverbes, c'est une tres bonne idee)

I waited this midday to answer has this post, because the morning I prefer the good French rod. Humm that seems very good and Ca gives desire. (if not thank you for your proverbs, it is a very good idea)
