Personally I like to look at the details of the architectures besides its entirety. That’s the true beauty. I moved closer. Then a young lad came up to me and started to introduce (promote) a folklore of the Hungarians just before I took this shot.
Maybe some of you would be curious to see how the zoomed out view of the Basilica shot by me looks like:) Could you see? The detailing seemed to be telling a story amongst the 13 characters…What do you think could be the story?;)
mmmm…big family as i think!
they were discussing some important desicion?? or listening the elder to tell some history about their family???
great details!

Oh! I was waiting for Szent Istvan, Isn’t is a beauty? Overall and in detail. Magnificent.
belle famille en effet. ce batiment est magnifique et la fresque est tres belle.
beautiful family indeed. this building is splendid and the fresco is very beautiful.
When I lived in the Washington DC area, I loved to look at the building details!
While I don’t know if Hungry celebrates Thanksgiving the same as we do, I wanted to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving in any case. Thanks for all the kind words you have posted at my site over the past few months!
I just realized I have been looking at your old site, thinking you have been on vacation or something!

Beautiful relief work. I’d be drawn to this, as well.
LOOOOOVE BLUE SKY…

The ways I see it, it says: “women rule” :-)
great zoomed details Zannnie, i like the colour of the sky too.
The zoomed out view is very impressive. The architecture in Budapest must be exciting to you. It seems so different from Singapore.
i think they are discussing how pple will come up with stories about them :-)
Looks like the three kings story, but the fella on the left is wearing the Hungarian crown.
I don’t know the story, but I love the lamppost to the left of the basilica in the long shot! Beautiful. So delicate.
Jing,
yes maybe the woman decides;)
Lachezar,
Glad you like it, there are another two other posts on this Basilica by Zsolt too…
Olivier,
it’s amazing how the other members were listening so intently;)

Denton,
yes,…the architectures here are so sooo beautiful, and yes it is entirely different…totally different from Singapore, it’s very historical here:)
James,
ohhh, you reckoned it is the story about the ‘three kings’?:)
Meg,
that’s a very beautifully done lamp, huge too:)
Thank you everyone….for your kind comments;)
I presume that the architecture represents a reunion dinner of a Royal family on the special occasion, i.e Christmas. The female host is making a speach to the famil, as well as blessing her new borned grandson.
