Day of Jolán in Hungary. This name was created by the writer András Dugonics in a roman published in 1803. It comes from the expression “jó leány” (good girl).
Not too long time ago I posted a photo where in the distance the Museum of Ethnography was visible. Some of you asked me to show the building and the statues on it better. Here is a photo from an other angle and on my Chaoren site you can see more details.
p.s.: as you can see I moved my site to WordPress. Kris even asked why in her comment. Its very simple. It was just enough of the difficulties on blogger. Its down, cuts the half of my pics, the sidebar jumps down and people have difficulties to reach it or comment on it. And Denton helped a lot to change so all you can see here is totally his job. Thank you Denton!

Budapest DP has a new home!
Une nouvelle maison pour Budapest DP, j’espere que l’on sera invite pour la crémaillère ;o)

ps. i started using WP 2 mths ago for trial purposes. I found it slow when uploading photo and posting..
Kris..its just my first day on WP and I am satisfied with the speed. Maybe if you consider to move better to ask Denton’s help he is really great in it.

well done Denton! Zsolt, hopefully your problems that you had at blogger will disappear.
btw did you have to buy your domain name first and than migrate to word press? i’m asking for the future reference for some of us if want to change as well.
so many great details on this museum and it’s been kept very well.
Zsolt, you can post as much as many as you wish. I can’t get enough of your Budapest architecture photography!
Cheers

Jazzy…i didnt have to buy the domain..its an arrangement with Denton he can tell you more how it works. I find his idea great.
Lachezar…i will post more achitectures you can be sure. Posting every wonderful building here might last for years:)
I am so curious as to why the columns on the left are pink! I am surprised I am the only to want to know this as it is very unusual!
Do you know why they are a different color?
Nice shot by the way. I love to see building architecture and street life scenes…to me, they give the true feel of a city!
Susan…the columns are pink because they painted there the name of the museum and the logo of the recent exhibition I guess. Usually they use flags or boards to advertise…but lately they are more brave and creative.
Hey, new home, and Anti Spam word is ‘dazzling’ – so fitting for the ‘new’ BDP.
Now that I’ve seen the outside, I’d really love to visit this museum. Sounds fascinating.
